I am a licensed grower in Mineral Bluff, GA.  I have been growing dahlias for four years and LOVE them!  I use clean practices in digging and storing tubers.  I want to provide affordable and good quality tubers.

Each tuber has its name written on the tuber. One eye will be circled. Plant when no chance of heavy frost. I’m in zone 6b/7a and will plant in mid April - May. You can pot them up or plant 4 -6” deep, 12-18" apart. Do not water until it starts to sprout above ground. Stake to help keep the stems upright.  

If you are zone 8b and lower you might consider digging up tubers and storing after a freeze.  In my zone I usually begin digging in November.  

If you have any questions or concerns about your tubers, you will need to email pictures and your concerns within three (3) days after you receive the tubers. I am notified when all packages are delivered.  Tubers come in all shapes.  Remember size doesn’t matter when it comes to dahlias. Also, some tubers appear to have some shriveling.  Once planted they will rehydrate.  I do the best to my ability to give you the best product.
